Local Priorities

Following our last community meeting held on 12 March the priorities set for the next three months are:

- Knife crime focused on youths suspected to be carrying weapons in South Cambs
- Youth ASB in Orchard Park and surrounding area

Following our community meeting held in December 2025 the priorities set for the next quarter are:

•Knife crime focusing on youths suspected to be carrying.
•Youth ASB In Cambourne and Guided Busway.

Status Update

Knife crime focusing on youths suspected to be carrying.

- We’ve made arrests for possession of knives and continue to run Operation Guardian, which targets habitual knife carriers. We are also carrying out ongoing engagement with local schools, delivering education sessions and working closely with staff and safeguarding teams.

Youth ASB In Cambourne and Guided Busway.

- High visibility patrols carried out around Cambourne and anti-social behaviour calls reduced as a result. One young person arrested for violence offence who is believed to be one a larger group committing the anti-social behaviour. Bail conditions have been put in place.
- Guided Busway patrols to prevent anti-social driving
